The dynamics of the boxes, their sagging in, their popping out, the voids between them create a contact area between the building and its surroundings. This extruded penetrable border between in and other space enclosed by the building is still a part of the entire infinite space. The illusion of moving boxes gives the building a hint of incompleteness, a potential for growth, shifting,  rearrangement. This horizontality parallel to

to the boulevard makes a counterpoint with the highrise offices across. Each of the apartments has its unique space different from the rest. The single home is easily recognizable from the inside and from the outside as well. We believe that preserving one’s individuality within the whole is a key to solving many of today’s urban problems.
